The Leadership Scholar Program is dedicated to empowering students to develop and strengthen themselves as leaders.
- Freshman scholars are required to participate in a 3-credit hour course, Self & Society: Communicating Cultures.
- Additionally, Leadership Scholars fulfill the standard Scholarship Service requirements as seen below:
Scholarship Service
If you have a Truman merit scholarship(s) that exceed $1,500 per semester and meet the credit hour and grade point requirements for renewal, you have the option of performing 58 hours of service per semester to renew your award.
